Update On Recreation Field Project In Naugatuck
The project has been discussed since 2016 when the Borough acquired a 7-acre parcel.

NAUGATUCK, CT — Naugatuck officials provided an update on the Kevin M. DelGobbo Memorial Field project located at Apple Hill Estates.
Last month the project was discussed before the Planning and Zoning Commission, which granted a one-year extension to the special permit for the open space recreation field.
Wayne Zirolli, Borough Engineer, said the field is under construction. The blasting was scheduled to start soon for the irrigation system. Once blasting is complete, the lighting contractors will start installing the lighting, Zirolli said, according to March 18 meeting minutes.
