Vincent Ingala Performs at Wedding in Prospect

The multi-instrumentalist/entertainer/producer gifted his cousin with the gift of his smooth jazz music at her wedding on Saturday.

"To hitch your rickety wagon to the flickering star of another fallible human being--what an insane thing to do. What a burden, what a gift." -- quoted on the wedding program

Prospect, CT - Andrea Ingala and Timothy O'Shea were married at St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church in Prospect early Saturday afternoon. The bride's cousin, the talented musician Vincent Ingala, was up in the choir loft to provide some of the music for the wedding ceremony.

The organist for the ceremony was Jacob Dowgewicz and Edwin Kotchain was the fine vocalist. The prelude music included "To God be the Glory," "Canon in D," and "How Great Thou Art." The two readings during the Liturgy of the Word were read by the godmothers of the bride and groom, while Andrew Avenue Elementary School kindergarten teacher Amy Matott read the Prayers of the Faithful.

The wedding had a casual vibe, although the wedding Mass was completely traditional. The ladies were dressed in fairy-like dresses that could have been inspired by Titania in 'Midsummer Night's Dream.' The ceremony was followed with an outdoor reception at a park in Litchfield that featured food truck and a Mr. Softee ice cream truck.
