Waterbury Police ID 2 Teens Charged In Double Slaying Outside Nightclub

Two city residents were killed in the July 5 shooting.

WATERBURY, CT — Police have released the names of the two teens charged in the fatal July 5 double shooting outside the LA 42 Night Club.

They include Diondre Weaver, 17, of West Hartford, and Dorien Glenn, 17, of New Britain, police said.

Each is charged with two counts of murder, conspiracy to commit murder, unlawful discharge of a firearm, first-degree reckless endangerment, illegal transfer of a pistol, weapons in a motor vehicle, and carrying a pistol without a permit.

While both initially appeared in juvenile court, police said their cases have been transferred to adult court.

Two Waterbury residents were killed in the shooting, including Trey-Von Dunbar, 22, and Zaniya Dawkins, 18.
