Westport Country Playhouse Presents "Cruel Summer: The Playhouse Playlist," a Back-to-School Concert, on Fri., Aug. 28
The music of Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Olivia Dean, Sabrina Carpenter, and other pop icons, performed by powerhouse vocalists backed by a live band.
“Cruel Summer: The Playhouse Playlist,” a high-energy, back-to-school concert celebrating the biggest voices in pop music, will take the stage at Westport Country Playhouse on Friday, August 28, at 7 p.m.
Featuring the music of Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Olivia Dean, Sabrina Carpenter, and other chart-topping artists, the concert will showcase powerhouse vocalists backed by a live band for an evening of hit songs and electrifying performances.

Drew Wutke is creator, producer, and music director of the event. He is a multi-disciplinary artist who continues to music direct and play piano on Broadway, Off-Broadway, regionally, and on tour, collaborating alongside Tony, Emmy, and Grammy winners. He is resident music director with a private coaching studio in New York City. Previously at Westport Country Playhouse, he was music director for “From Broadway to Hollywood,” “A Night for Swifties,” and “Me, Myself & Barbra.”
