Woman Didn't Scan 59 Items At Self-Checkout: Naugatuck Police
Police say she would only scan a few items and skipped 59 items.

NAUGATUCK, CT — A Waterbury woman is accused of not scanning 59 items while in the self check-out lane at Walmart, police said. At 6:32 p.m. Wednesday police responded to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road on a report of a shoplifting from the store.
Loss prevention advised that they observed the accused subject, Johnna Stoke, 53, of Wesley Street, process items in the self check out and purposely did dot scan 59 items, police said.
The accused was observed scanning only a few items then skipping others while she bagged them all, police said. The accused then attempted to and exited the store without paying for them, police said. The accused was arrested and released on $500.00 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior court on June 13.
