Central Connecticut State University’s Division of Campus & Community Engagement, in partnership with the New Britain Public Library, invites you to a special screening of TCB: The Toni Cade Bambara School of Organizing, a documentary film about Toni Cade Bambara, an influential writer and cultural worker whose works helped define Black Arts and feminist movements in the United States. This 2025 documentary was made by Louis Massiah and Monica Henriquez and features stories about Toni Cade Bambara as told by her friends, colleagues, and students. The documentary showing will be held at the New Britain Public Library, 20 High Street, New Britain, on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 5:00 - 7:30 PM. A panel discussion will take place following the film. Refreshments will be provided by the New Britain Public Library.
