12 New Canaan School Educators Retire

New Canaan, CT- A total of 12 school personel with a combined 291 years of service in the district retired at the end of the year.

Superintendent Bryan Luizzi spoke about each retiree at a June Board of Education meeting.

The following people retired: Nora Daly (29 years), Mary Ann Defelice (29 years), Patty Koehler (8 years), Bonnie Kearns (21 years),
Sue Cesareo (27 years), Christina Russo (12 years), Deb Owen (25 years), Anita Chargar (24 years), Pat
Kimmerling (10 years), Anne Gesualdi (38 years), Mary Ann Stone (32 years), Heidi D’Acosta (38 years).
