Alleged Fugitive From Justice Arrested In New Canaan
The suspect was riding in a vehicle that was pulled over in New Canaan on Saturday.

NEW CANAAN, CT — A 55-year-old Bronx, NY man was arrested by New Canaan police Saturday as a fugitive of justice following a motor vehicle stop.
Allan Wilson was riding in a car on Gerdes Road near Conrad Road at about 2:45 p.m. when the vehicle was pulled over for speeding.
Upon asking for the identification of the vehicle's two occupants, Wilson presented a fake Maryland ID card. And after checking him out, officers discovered that Wilson was wanted in New Jersey as a fugitive, though New Canaan police did not know the nature of the original charges against him.

Wilson was additionally charged with second-degree forgery, and was held without a bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday, and he faces the possibility of extradition to New Jersey in the coming days or weeks.
