Allegedly Intoxicated Driver Charged with OUI in New Canaan
A concerned citizen called police to let them know about an erratic driver, police said.

New Canaan Police arrested an allegedly intoxicated driver after a concerned citizen reported he was driving erratically.
The caller said a vehicle on South Avenue was driving erratically in the northern direction, according to police.
An officer observed the vehicle stopped between lanes. It then made a wide left turn and partially went into another lane.

The vehicle was pulled over on Fieldcrest Road.
The operator, David Reinholt, 58 of Milford failed field sobriety tests, police said.

He was charged with making an improper turn, operating under the influence, failure to signal and left lane restriction violation.
