Bob Salomon Once Bought St. Luke's School for $1

SLS Students hear his story at the Center for Leadership's Lunch & Lead.

Wall Street veteran Bob Salomon once bought St. Luke's School for $1. SLS Students heard his story at this week's Lunch & Lead in the School's Center for Leadership. You can hear this amazing story too: http://blogs.stlukesct.org/cfl/2013/04/10/lunch-lead-live-bob-salomon-jr-55/
When a student asked Salomon what he was most proud of about St. Luke's today, he responded with a smile: "The fact that it's still here." After a pause, and chuckle from the room, Salomon added: "What am I most proud of? This school has come so far. Today it is fully competitive in the Fairchester system...You look at this school compared to other schools in the area, and you have to be proud of what's taking place here."
Bob Salomon is a St. Luke's alumni, past parent, grandparent and former Chairman of the Board of Trustees.
