NCL visits The Roger Sherman Inn for a Culinary Demonstration

On a cold winter morning, the New Canaan Chapter of National Charity League paid a visit to the Roger Sherman Inn. Executive Chef, Christophe Cadou,  delighted the girls with a cooking demonstration showing how to make White Chocolate Apricot Bread Pudding.   This recipe is a long time favorite dessert at the RogerSherman Inn.   After the demonstration, the girls and their mothers were treated to sample the dessert.

NCL is a non-profit national organization of mothers and daughters who join together in community involvement within local chapters throughout the United States.  Its goal is to foster a sense of community responsibility in the girls as well as to strengthen the mother-daughter relationship.  The daughters participate in a six-year program of philanthropic work, educational activities and cultural events.
