“The line is filled with a variety of beautiful wools in blues, corals, and greens,” said Barfuss. “I summer on Nantucket and each day I walk by the flower carts on Main Street, which always makes me want to extend my vacation as long as possible. The bright colors in my line reflect those warm, summer days that continue to inspire me on a daily basis.”
As with her past collections, Barfuss has carefully designed the Fall 2011 line to flatter any woman. With feminine details such as ruffles complemented by classic patterns like plaid, checks, and herringbone, the line includes coats, blouses, skirts and dresses. The coats, dresses and skirts are available in patterned and solid wools as well as printed cotton with touches of leather and sophisticated gold chain. Barfuss has also included printed silk blouses, skirts and dresses with stunning yet timeless colored prints and has added buckle and ruffle details.
