Asleep In Running Car Results In Heroin Arrest For New Canaan Man: Cops

The incident occurred on July 1.

NEW CANAAN, CT — A 26-year-old Knapp Lane resident, who fell asleep behind the wheel of a running car in New Canaan on July 1, was arrested on a charge of heroin possession, according to police.

Argon Sabovic was found asleep at the wheel of the running car just after midnight while parked in a driveway on Frogtown Road.

"Subsequently, a search of the vehicle uncovered a quantity of heroin," wrote police in a statement. How much heroin was discovered was not disclosed.

Sabovic was released after posting a $250 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on July 14.
