As part of a state safety program, bridges around the state are being inspected, and one area inspection will close off lanes on the north- and southbound sides of Interstate 95 in Darien for a time on Tuesday.
The Connecticut Department of Transportation recently announcedthese lane closures Tuesday on I-95 in Darien:
- On the northbound-traffic side of the highway, the right lane will be closed from 9 a.m to noon.
- On the southbound-traffic side, the right lane will be closed from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Tuesday, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., lanes will shift over a bridge on Perry Avenue between Springwood Court and Rae Lane.
- Wednesday, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., lanes will shift over a bridge on Richards Avenue (over Interstate 95) between Connecticut Avenue and Flax Hill Road.
