The following building permits were issued during the month of August:

41 Millport Avenue: Thirty permits were issued to the New Canaan Housing Authority in connection with the construction underway at this address. Five were for new construction each estimated at $212,500. Twenty were for accessory building construction estimated at $78,750. per permit.  Other accessory building permits were issued for work estimated at $30,000., $8400., two for $2,000. and one for $1,000. Arcon Group of Hummelstown, PA was the contractor in all cases.

54 Clearview Lane: John and Laura Barker contracted Kellogg Brothers Inc. of Wilton to undertake an addition estimated at $210,000.

9 East Maple Avenue: Anthony Tomas Builders, LLC are the owners and contractors at this address. Two townhouses are to be built at an estimated cost of $700,000.

407 Hoyt Street: Nicola Fritz is the owner and builder planning alterations here estimated at $55,000.

79 Benedict Hill Road: Wayne and Cathy Kulkin have contracted All in One Home Improvements LLC of Monroe to complete alterations estimated at $50,000.

82 Woodland Road: Owners Patrick and Diana Quill have contracted LSC LTD Liability Company, Fairfield to complete renovations estimated at $200,000.

110 Turtleback Road South: Vaidas Lizgiris and Julia Schukina have contracted Robert Lupinski Painting of Stratford to compete renovations estimated at $65,000.

401 Hoyt Farm Road: The Gnuse Harmon Thomas Trustee has contracted James Bouchard to complete a kitchen remodel estimated at $75,000.

202 Parish Road: New construction is planned by owner and builder NC Chrall, LLC, Bill Fieber. The estimated cost is $1,650,000. A permit for a 2-car garage at this address, estimated at $40,000., has been issued as well.

57 South Avenue: St. Aloysius Church has engaged Construction Management Group, LLC of New Canaan to undertake renovations of a hall, wall cabinet, foyer and closet at a cost estimated at $37,000.

219 Buttery Road: Avis Aaronson is the owner and builder of a basement bathroom estimated at $12,000.

671 South Avenue: Aquarion Water Company of CT, Bridgeport is the owner and Transcend Wireless, LLC, Mahwah, NJ the contractor for this commercial project. A permit was issued to install 3 antennas on the water tank at Waveny Park. The estimated cost is $20,000.

57 Welles Lane: Erica Breckner contracted with Kellogg Brothers Inc to construct an open attached porch and covered walkway. The estimated cost is $130.000.
