Car Reported Stolen In New Canaan: Cops
The theft has something in common with a host of other vehicles stolen from town.

NEW CANAAN, CT — A car was reported stolen from Lakeview Avenue in New Canaan on June 1, and in a post on the department's Twitter and Instagram pages the New Canaan Police Department is urging residents to avoid being a victim of such crimes.
"The keys were left in car and yes, the car was unlocked!!" wrote New Canaan police. The theft occurred during the overnight hours.
Over the past several months, New Canaan has been hit by several vehicle thefts, which have resulted in multiple warnings from the police department urging residents to be vigilant in keeping vehicles locked and valuables out of sight.
