Consultants Suggest Changes to Merritt Village Proposal
Consultants hired by the town planner suggested reduced height and number of units.

NEW CANAAN, CT—Consultants have recommended that the Merritt Village proposal's height, size and number of units be reduced to better fit with the surrounding area.
The town hired a group of consultants to provide opinions about the project, according to the New Canaan Advertiser.
The consultants noted that the current proposal would include 36 dwelling units per acre, which is "significantly higher" than the surrounding developments.
