Domestic Dispute Leads To Assault, Drug Bust, Says New Canaan PD
The incident occurred Tuesday evening on Millport Avenue.

NEW CANAAN, CT — A 23-year-old New Canaan man was arrested Tuesday evening on charges of third-degree assault, two counts of possession of a controlled substance and other violations following a domestic dispute at a home on Millport Avenue, according to New Canaan police.
Tyler J. Moroch was arrested after officers were called to the scene at about 5:45 p.m. In addition to the above charges, Moroch was additionally charged with disorderly conduct, interfering with an officer and use of drug paraphernalia.
Details of the circumstances surrounding the arrest were not disclosed. "As this matter is domestic in nature no further information will be released regarding this incident," wrote New Canaan police in a statement.

Moroch was held in lieu of bail of $2,500 and was scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on June 13.
