DUI Arrest for Erractic New Canaan Driver: PD
The woman seemed confused about her direction of travel, police said.

NEW CANAAN, CT —Police arrested a Fairfield woman after she was observed driving erratically Feb. 1 in town, police said.
Maria McDermott, 55, turned onto the entrance ramp to the Merritt Parkway near Old Stamford Road and then came to a complete stop in the middle of the entrance ramp, which blocked travel, police said.
She seemed confused about her direction of travel, according to police. She failed field sobriety tests and was charged with DUI and failure to keep right on a curve/hill.
