DUI Arrest for Stamford Man, 24: New Canaan Police
The incident occurred on Ponus Ridge Road Thursday night.

NEW CANAAN, CT — A 24-year-old Stamford man was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and operating an unregistered motor vehicle Thursday night on Ponus Ridge Road, according to New Canaan police.
Brian Sachs, of Greens Circle, was pulled over just after 10 p.m. when police - utilizing a patrol car License Plate Reader - noticed his vehicle's registration had expired.
While speaking with him, officers said Sachs "displayed signs of impairment," and administered roadside sobriety tests which he allegedly failed.

"Sachs submitted to a urine analysis of his Blood Alcohol Content (results not known at this time)," police wrote in a statement.
He was released after posting a $250 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 30.
