The incident occurred after midnight on Thursday.

NEW CANAAN, CT — A 33-year-old Stamford woman was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and failure to drive on the right early Thursday after a New Canaan police officer allegedly saw her driving erratically on New Norwalk Road.

According to police, Maria Carmela Morales-Gramajo, of Warren Street, was pulled over at about 12:30 a.m. after an officer saw Morales-Gramajo driving with her vehicle's emergency flashing lights on, and "observed the vehicle swerving in the southbound lane crossing over the double yellow line."

After pulling her over, the officer allegedly saw that Morales-Gramajo showed undisclosed "signs of impairment," and she failed Standardized Field Sobriety Tests.
