Easter Brunch 2024 In New Canaan: 5 Places To Eat

NEW CANAAN, CT — If you want Easter brunch and don’t want to cook it, some New Canaan area restaurants will open Sunday, March 31, to take care of the preparation.

Don’t waste time, though. Tables book quickly.

Here are a few of them from the online reservation service OpenTable:

• Gates Restaurant + Bar — 10 Forest Street
  • Sunday hours: 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• Elm Restaurant — 73 Elm Street
  • Sunday hours: 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Cava Wine Bar & Restaurant — 2 Forest Street
  • Sunday hours: reservations starting at 12:15 p.m.
• Hashi Sushi — 11 Forest Street
  • Sunday hours: 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.
• Taproot — 63-71 N Main Street (Norwalk)
  • Sunday hours: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Several upscale chains with locations around New Canaan have announced Easter brunch hours as well, including familiar names like Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, and Ruth’s Chris Steak House.

Several casual restaurants are open for Easter as well, including Applebee’s, Bonefish Grill, The Cheesecake Factory, Chili’s, Cracker Barrel, Panera Bread, Perkins, and Texas Roadhouse.
