'Erratic' Driving Leads To DUI Arrest In New Canaan: Police
The incident occurred Sunday afternoon.

NEW CANAAN, CT — A 58-year-old New York City man was arrested on a charge of Driving Under the Influence Sunday afternoon in New Canaan, according to police.
Jonathan V. Diamond was allegedly spotted operating his vehicle "erratically" in the area of Lakeview and Millport avenues just before 5 p.m.
"Officers made contact with Diamond at the intersection of Main Street and Hoyt Street," wrote New Canaan police in a statement. "Upon speaking with Diamond he displayed signs of intoxication, subsequent [Standardized Field Sobriety Tests] were administered which he failed."

Diamond was taken into custody but refused to submit to a breath test at police headquarters, according to officials.
He posted a $250 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on May 12.
