New This Year – Hamburgers, hot dogs, wraps, salads and more will be available from Garelick & Herbs.
Passes – The Family Fourth Celebration is funded entirely by the sale of passes and additional donations. Passes for residents are $30 and are still availableat the Recreation Department office in Waveny House from through July 1 and on the front steps of Town Hall on July 2 from 10 AM until 2 PM. Cash or check only and proof of residency required. NOTE: A limited number of non-resident passes are available at $60 at the Recreation office.

Entry and Parking – Waveny Park will open at 5 p.m. All cars must enter through the main gate on South Avenue. Lapham Road will be closed to all traffic. Entry passes must be displayed on your windshield. Pedestrians should enter the park from the high school area. Parking is not permitted on the roads adjacent to the park.
Inclement Weather – Do not call the New Canaan Police or Fire Department. For updates, call 203-594-3610 or log on to www.newcanaan.info. The rain date is Tuesday July 5.
Things to Leave at Home - Dogs, alcoholic beverages, barbeque grills, personal fireworks, sparklers and candles are not permitted at the Family Fourth.
