Adopt one of the Nature Center's trees for the season. Learn about and actively participate in the syrup making process! Your family or group will attend a kick-off event on February 5 at 10am or 11:30am (pre registration required) and then return 2-3 times per week to collect sap, participate in sap "boil downs," and take part in a syrup celebration in March. You'll end with a bottle of your own syrup to enjoy at home!
Through this ongoing program (approximately 6 weeks) you'll experience a connection with nature and learn about an age-old New England tradition. Space is limited. Call (203) 966-9577 x15 with questions, or x20 to register and reserve your tree!
There is a charge of $65/group or family.
