Colonial Summer Camp

Four separate weeks of Colonial Camp will be offered this summer.  Discover what life was like in the American past through fun, historically-based crafts and activities.  Children ages 6 - 11 will explore The New Canaan Historical Society’s historic buildings, including the 1764 Hanford-Silliman House, 1799 one-room Rock School, Tool Museum and the Print Shop.  Outdoor fun and games will take place on the Society’s beautiful grounds at 13 Oenoke Ridge in New Canaan.  Each day the activities will differ and will include cooking, candle making, playing traditional games, Native American crafts, needlework, stenciling, toy and game making, woodworking, and many, many other unique hands on projects.  Each week will be different - sign up for as many as you'd like!!!
