The parks and recreation department will hold a certification clinic for fall soccer referees at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 2, at Waveny. Boys and girls ages 12-18 with prior experience in playing soccer and knowledge of the rules of the game are eligible. The season runs Sept. 11-Nov. 6. Registration is required.
