On Sunday, November 20th at 11 a.m. the eighth annual Turkey Trot will take place at Irwin Park in New Canaan to raise money for the Open Door Norwalk Emergency Shelter.
For eight years, the Turkey Trot (www.newcanaanturkeytrot.com) has raised money to support the Open Door Norwalk Emergency Shelter with a fun walk/run through the beautiful ¾ mile trail of Irwin Park. Organized by a team of New Canaan high school students: Kelly Clark of Greenwich Academy, Devin McVeigh of New Canaan High School and Katelyn Schoenholtz of New Canaan Country School, the event provides funds greatly needed over the busy holiday season.

Bring your family, friends and pets for a brisk walk or fun run, rain or shine. Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, a raffle and prizes will be on hand. Students can use this event to earn community service hours.
