The nature center will lead a "Summer Night Hike & Campfire" from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 13. Join the hike and watch for stars as the sky goes from day to night, and discover the world of evening animals. Meet and learn all about "crepuscular" critters and listen for various other night-time sounds. Walk the woods during the gloaming and end the night roasting marshmallows around the woodland campfire. Call 203-966-9577 to reserve a spot.
Members are $5; non-members are $8; children under age 3 are free.
