Eversource Continues Natural Gas Expansion In New Canaan
The recently started project is costing the utility company in excess of $25 million.

NEW CANAAN, CT — The natural gas project in New Canaan will extend to parts of Routes 106 and 124 beginning on April 30, according to utility company Eversource.
"Drivers may experience delays due to alternating one-way traffic as well as occasional lane closures," wrote officials in a statement. "To ensure the safe completion of this work, police and signs will be deployed approaching these locations to help manage the flow of traffic."
Crews will be on Route 106 (Hoyt Street) in Darien from the intersection with Greenwood Avenue north into New Canaan where the road becomes the Old Stamford Road and continuing to Farm Road, then north on Route 124 in New Canaan (South Avenue) to Oak Street.
