Former New Canaan First Selectman Joins Bankwell: Report
Rob Mallozzi III was First Selectman for three terms.
NEW CANAAN, CT — Former three-term First Selectman Rob Mallozzi III has joined New Canaan-based Bankwell Financial as Senior Vice President, director of Business Development, reports the New Canaan Advertiser.
Mallozzi is slated to start at the bank on Dec. 4, and will report to Executive Vice President, and head of Community Banking, David Dineen, according to the publication. Mallozzi lost the Republican nomination this year to the eventual new First Selectman Kevin Moynihan.
In addition to serving as New Canaan First Selectman, Mallozzi also owned the sporting goods story Bob's Sports Inc. for two decades, and is currently an owner and managing partner in Caroline Realty, LLC.
