NEW CANAAN, CT—New Canaan’s full voting results are in for the Tuesday election.

President

• Clinton and Kaine 5,630 votes 52.20%
• Trump and Pence 4,520 votes 41.91%
• Johnson and Weld 503 votes 4.66%
• Stein and Baraka 77 votes 0.71%

Senate

• Richard Blumenthal 4,551 votes 42.21%
• Dan Carter 5,873 votes 54.47%
• Richard Blumenthal (Working Families line) 180 votes 1.67%
• Richard Lion 113 votes 1.05%
• Jeffery Russell 66 votes 0.61%

Congress

• Jim Himes 4,661 votes 43.31%
• John Shaban 5,982 votes 55.58%
• John Shaban (Independent line) 120 votes 1.11%

New Canaan voters voted by a margin of 5,120 yes to 3,326 no on the question of whether the Board of Finance chairman should come from the board's own ranks instead of the town's first selectman, according to the New Canaan Advertiser.
Voters decided to keep the mandate that Board of Finance members be real estate property taxpayers by a margin of 5,640 to 2,786.
