Jennifer Dulos has been missing since May 24, and the children's father, Fotis Dulos, has been charged in connection with the disappearance.
NEW CANAAN, CT — Gloria Farber, the grandmother of missing New Canaan mom Jennifer Dulos' five children, has filed court documents seeking custody of the five kids, reports WFSB-TV and News 12 Connecticut's Marissa Alter.
Jennifer Dulos has been missing since May 24, and her estranged husband and father of the children, Fotis Dulos, remains in custody on charges connected to the disappearance.
The children have been staying with Farber in New York City since Jennifer Dulos' disappearance, at times under the protection of an armed security guard, according to reports.

Farber is Jennifer Dulos' mother, who, in a separate matter with the estate of her late husband Hilliard Farber, is suing Fotis Dulos for non-payment of millions of dollars for loans the Farbers gave to his business.
Jennifer and Fotis Dulos were in the midst of a contentious divorce and custody battle over the kids at the time of her disappearance. Those legal proceedings have been ongoing for two years.
