Here Comes the Sun! Join us for dancing on May 3

The New Canaan Dance Club will celebrate the end of winter at the Country Club of New Canaan on Saturday, May 3. The theme of the party is “Here Comes the Sun,” from the Beatles song that begins, “Little darlin’, it’s been a long, cold, lonely winter….”   That song seems particularly relevant this year, which has been particularly dreary for a particularly long time. 

So we’re cooking up an antidote.  We’re ditching winter formal duds for summer festive (ties optional), and 3 served courses for an over-the-top barbecue buffet featuring grilled meats, chicken and shrimp and a baked-potato bar. 

What we’ve kept, of course, is the reason this club exists – we’ll be dancing to a fantastic band.  Anthony Radice and the Street Life Band had us all on our feet in September at the Carriage Barn, and they'll be joining us again.  We’re looking forward to another great night.
