Highway Lane Closures in Norwalk, Westport, Mon-Thurs
Expect lane closures on I-95 and the Merritt Parkway at these times Monday to Thursday, May 5 to 8, in Norwalk and Westport.
Lane closures on Interstate 95 and the Merritt Parkway are scheduled for specified times from Monday, May 5 through Thursday, May 8, the Connecticut Department of Transportation has announced.
Lanes will be closed, but traffic will still move, for "bridge safety and evaluation," according to the department.
Remember: These are also plans — and they can change.
Interstate 95
MONDAY — NORWALK, between Exits 13 and 15:
- Northbound: RIGHT LANE closure — 9 a.m. to noon
- Southbound: LEFT LANE closure — 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
TUESDAY — NORWALK, between Exits 13 and 15:
- Northbound: LEFT LANE closure — 9 a.m. to noon
- Southbound: RIGHT LANE closure — 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
WEDNESDAY — NORWALK, at two different areas:
- Northbound between Exits 15 and 17: RIGHT LANE closure — 9 a.m. to noon
- Southbound between Exits 17 and 16: LEFT LANE closure — 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Merritt Parkway
THURSDAY — WESTPORT, between Exits 41 and 44, alternating left and right lane closures:
- Northbound: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Southbound: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Also in Westport
Tuesday: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. "Shoulder closures/lane shifts on New Creek Road between Green's Farms Road and Maple Lane."
