If you're planning to be on Interstate 95 in Darien between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m., include some delays from lane closures in your planning.
Drivers on Interstate 95 in Darien between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. should be prepared for lane closures in certain spots, the Connecticut Department of Transportation has announced.
The reason: an ongoing program of state bridge inspections on the highways in Connecticut.
For "northbound" traffic (actually, eastbound — going toward New Haven), there will be "alternating double left and single right lane closures between Exits 9 and 12," the department announced in a news release.
For "southbound" traffic (actually westbound — going toward New York), there will be "alternating single left and single right lane closures between Exits 13 and 11."
