Initial Snowfall Estimates Made for Connecticut's 'Major Nor'Easter' Sunday
The National Weather Service's latest update indicates a significant snowstorm is becoming more likely Sunday into Monday.

It looks like this is really going to happen, snow that is, and possibly lots of it on Sunday for Connecticut.
The National Weather Service has just issued a “Hazardous Weather Outlook” for all of Connecticut for isolated thunderstorms ending this evening, possibly including some hail and gusty winds.
But all eyes are turning toward Sunday into Monday as the National Weather Service states that for southern Connecticut, which consists of Fairfield, New Haven, Middlesex, and New London counties that a “coastal low could bring at least 6 inches of snow to the tri-state from Sunday into Monday.”
“The snow could mix with rain over mainly coastal areas near the start of the event,” the National Weather Service states.
For parts a bit northern in Hartford and Tolland counties, “significant” snow is possible there.
The weather service states that “a coastal storm may bring significant snow possibly mixing with rain to southern New England late Sunday into Monday.”
