Intoxicated New Canaan Man Fled Accident Scene: PD

NEW CANAAN, CT- A New Canaan man was arrested after he fled an accident scene while intoxicated, according to police.

Officers responded to the area of 280 Elm Street June 23 around 11:58 a.m. for a report of an accident in the Acme parking lot.

Two cars were involved in an accident and one fled the scene.

Officers used witness information to track down the fleeing vehicle and operator to a Heritage Hill Road residence.

Brian Falvey, 54, was taken into custody. He refused field sobriety tests and a breath test. He was charged with DUI and evading responsibility.
