Launch Date Pushed Back For Upgraded New Canaan Town Website
Officials had hoped to launch the new site this month.
NEW CANAAN, CT — The town's revamped government website, which First Selectman Kevin Moynihan said in January could launch in April, will not launch until sometime in May at the earliest, Moynihan said Thursday.
"It's all built, but they're in the migration process, meaning they're bringing over the content from the current site," he told Patch, adding that a possible launch date could be May 15.
The website revamp is costing New Canaan about $12,000 and is being put together by government website specialists Revize Software, which has developed government websites for communities around the country, including in Alaska, California, Illinois and Michigan.
