Paul, who lost his own son 2 years ago to a heroin overdose, is the founder of the New Canaan Parent Support Group, which provides support to families suffering through the challenges of addiction, especially prescription drugs.

According to Paul, ”Research suggests that many young people who may have anxiety or other mental health issues, are more likely to self-medicate with drugs and alcohol. This leaves them more at-risk for addiction than other teens.”
