Magazine Solicitor Arrested in New Canaan
It's not the first time the man was caught selling magazines without a permit in Connecticut, according to police.

NEW CANAAN, CT- A man who had active warrants for failing to respond to infractions for magazine solicitation was taken into custody by New Canaan Police June 21.

Leslie Scales, 29, of Gainsville, Fla. was arrested in the evening hours after he was found trying to sell magazine subscriptions on Nubel Lane. He indicated he didn't have a permit, police said.

Scales had active warrants from Wilton and Norwalk police departments. He was taken into custody and charged with two counts of failure to respond to an infraction. He was also issued an infraction for soliciting without a permit.
He was released on a $500 bond.
