UPDATE: Missing Silver Hill Hospital Patient Has Been Found

A Silver Alert had been issued for the man who went missing from Silver Hill Hospital late Friday night.

Update: 9:05 a.m. Dec. 21:

New Canaan Police Chief Leon Krolikowski said Monday morning that the man who was missing from Silver Hill Hospital has been found.

Michael Jones, 25, who was reported missing on Dec. 18, “was located in New York City earlier this morning,” Krolikowski said. “Mr. Jones is safe and with his family. Our Department thanks everyone for their concern and well wishes for Mr. Jones’ safe return.”

Police are searching for a man who went missing from Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan late Friday night.

Around 11:35 p.m. police were contacted after Michael Jones, 25, of New York City, was no where to be found.

He is a black male, 5’11’’ and weighs 170 pounds. He has short black hair, a mustache and a goatee.

He was last seen wearing a blue hoodie with green stripes and dark colored pants.

Jones was last seen at the hospital around 9:15 p.m. He is bi-polar and may not have taken his medication. He isn’t known to be violent, police said.

A Silver Alert has been issued for Jones and anyone who has seen him is asked to contact police at 203-594-3500.
