Merritt Village Project Gets Final Approval: New Canaan P&Z
The New Canaan development project was approved after many hurdles.
NEW CANAAN, CT — The Planning and Zoning Commission voted unanimously to give final approval to the Merritt Village project. The developer will have to protect and preserve three old burial grounds.
Up to 110 residences are possible on 3.3 acres, according to the New Canaan Advertiser. The area is currently home to 38 apartment units.
Half of the units will be condominiums and the other half will be rental apartments.
