Missing Mom Case: Here's How Much State PD Spent Investigating

State Police have performed numerous searches and other investigations concerning the disappearance of Jennifer Dulos.

NEW CANAAN, CT — State Police have spent more than $550,000 investigating the disappearance of Jennifer Dulos. There have been nearly 9,000 hours of overtime dedicated to the case as of July 18.

The numbers were uncovered by an FOI request submitted by Hearst Connecticut Media. The news organization made a similar request to New Canaan Police, but haven't gotten back any figures.

State Police have been involved in specialized K-9 searches, diving searches and other aspects of the investigation.

Dulos' estranged husband Fotis Dulos, and his ex-girlfriend Michelle Troconis, have been charged with evidence tampering and hindering a prosecution in connection with Jennifer Dulos' disappearance on May 24. Troconis is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 19.

The Dulos were in the divorce and child custody process when Jennifer Dulos went missing.
