Missing New Canaan Trampoline No Longer a Mystery
A woman answering an ad for a free trampoline took the wrong one.
The case of the stolen trampoline in New Canaan turns out to be a case of mistaken identity.
It seems that a Bickford Lane woman advertised her trampoline on Craigslist saying it was free to whomever could haul it away, according to The New Canaanite. A local woman answered the ad but mistakenly took a neighbor’s trampoline.
Once New Canaan Police sorted out the situation, the woman who took the trampoline agreed to pay the owner to replace it.
