Nanny Leaves 6-Month-Old Alone In Unattended Vehicle: New Canaan Police
The suspect, a Greenwich resident, left the vehicle unattended for several minutes.

NEW CANAAN, CT — A 41-year-old Old Greenwich woman was issued a misdemeanor summons by New Canaan police on Sept. 27 after she left a six-month-old baby she was caring for alone in a vehicle unattended, according to authorities.
Natarine Hilton, of Sound Beach Avenue, who was employed by a New Canaan family as a nanny, allegedly left the child alone in a vehicle for approximately eight minutes, parked in the Acme market lot on Elm Street.
"The vehicle was running with the air conditioning left on," wrote New Canaan police in a statement. "It was determined that the nanny, Hilton, had gone inside of Acme to purchase a few items and parked the vehicle leaving the 6 month old infant inside the vehicle because the infant was sleeping."
