New Canaan Approves $21K for Photos: Report

NEW CANAAN, CT — At first blush $21,640 may seem like a lot of money for photos but New Canaan officials say the money is well worth it.

The Board of Selectmen approved spending $21,640 to pay Multivista of Connecticut to photograph the Saxe Middle School project, the New Canaanite reports.

Photographs of the addition will be taken and officials tell the New Canaanite that it will help them chronicle the project and whether it's being done correctly. Officials plan to have pictures taken during 12 specific points in the project.

Town leaders say the photos will serve as insurance to help ensure the project is done correct.
