New Canaan Baskin Robbins 'BOGO' Deal Still On

The community showed strong support for the Tuesday deal after a woman threw her ice cream behind the counter during a tirade.

NEW CANAAN, CT- Tuesday's buy one get one free deal at the New Canaan Baskin Robbins is here to stay after the community came out to support the deal.

Owner Anna Valente, who has owned the ice cream store for 24 years considered axing the Tuesday deal after a local woman had a conniption over melted ice cream and threw it behind the counter.

Valente's reasoning for potentially getting rid of the promotion was that it brought in non-regular customers who could be more prone to launching tirades against workers, according to the New Canaanite.

This past Tuesday the BOGO night turned into appreciation for the employees and a jar was put out to raise money for a nonprofit that hosts anger management groups.
