New Canaan Boys Hockey Falls To Hamden
Rams drop to 2-3 following 5-3 loss to the second-ranked Green Dragons.

The New Canaan boys hockey team dropped a 5-3 decision to Hamden, the state's second-ranked team, Friday at the Darien Ice Rink.
Dylan Hart, Chip Glover and Tyler Manchuck scored for the Rams, who fell to 2-3. The loss snapped a two-game winning streak for New Canaan.
Hamden, which improved to 3-0 and also has beaten Darien, built a 3-1 lead after the second period. Each team scored twice in the final stanza.

Five different players scored for Hamden as Bill Reilly, Tim Lee, Eric Sullivan Ted Kennedy and Tyler Carangelo each found the back of the net for the Green Dragons.
Andrew Varga made 22 saves for Hamden and Chris Koennecke stopped 20 shots for New Canaan.
