“Who we are on-line versus who we are in person is an important distinction. Both the book and the event are designed to help parents of teens and tweens decode the new language of social media, decrease stress and build empathy,” said Alex Wellman, Head of Upper School (Grades 7-9) who, together with Head of Middle School (Grades 5 & 6) Kirsten Rosolen, organized the event. “The goal is to promote healthy socialization, effective self-regulation, and overall safety and wellness.”
